Ruby wrap girl’s skirt
The Ruby Wrap Skirt has just been released in my shop here on the Daydream Patterns website and also in my Etsy store
This pattern is a firm favourite of mine. I made it a few years ago to teach to my sewing students and it proved so popular and was such a great design for my girls to get creative with, that I knew I had to include it in the Daydream Patterns range.
The Ruby wrap skirt pattern in sizes 2 – 12 girls is a skirt with loads of creative possibilities.
There are 2 options for the asymmetrical front section – lace or colour block.
The lace option is embellished with diagonally placed scallop lace. The colour block version
has three diagonal sections for a combination of solid colours or prints!
The skirt does up with a simple ribbon or a bias binding waistband and a press snap.
The Ruby skirt is an easy beginner sew and a great scrap buster! It doesn’t matter if you don’t own an overlocker / serger, there are options to make the Ruby with just a regular sewing machine.
The full sized pattern includes all pieces which will print on your home computer on either letter or A4 paper. There is also a A0 copy shop and a 36″ wide copy shop file included.
When you purchase the Ruby wrap skirt this week, you will also receive a 45cm / 18″ doll pattern! This is the first time I have added in a doll pattern – it was such fun to make the tiny skirt pattern, and the photo shoot was so easy! This is Chloe and Ellie, my girls may have outgrown them, but I’m still happy to play dress-ups!
Join our Daydream Patterns Facebook group for a 25% discount coupon code and the free doll pattern – valid for one week until Sunday 12th March, 2017.
Make the Ruby wrap skirt your own with a unique combination of fabric and texture!
