The Ruby wrap skirt pattern is a skirt with loads of creative possibilities. There are 3 options for the asymmetrical front section – plain, lace or colour block.

Feature a beautiful print using the plain option, embellish with diagonally placed
laces using the lace option, or create a combination of solid colours or co-ordinating prints using the colour block option.

The downloadable pdf pattern includes Australian women’s sizes 8 – 20 and a detailed instruction tutorial with illustrations.

There is also a A0 copy shop and a 36″ wide copy shop file included.

The Ruby wrap skirt pattern, in Australian women’s sizes 8 – 20 is a skirt with loads of creative
possibilities. There are 3 options for the asymmetrical front section – plain, lace or colour block. Feature a beautiful print using the plain option, embellish with diagonally placed
laces using the lace option, or create a combination of solid colours or co-ordinating prints using the colour block option. The back and inner front skirt are made in the same fabric.
The skirt does up with a ribbon or a bias binding waistband, and a press snap.
The Ruby skirt is an easy beginner sew and a great scrap buster!
Make the Ruby wrap skirt your own with a unique combination of fabric and texture.

FABRICS – Medium weight woven cottons, cotton blends, quilting cottons, chambray, poplin,
broadcloth, lawn, linen, cotton sateen.
A stretch woven material will also work, such as a medium weight cotton spandex (97% cotton, 3% spandex).

The front section of the skirt can be used to feature a print or use a plain fabric with
contrasting coloured laces. Use the colour block option to mix prints or plains together.
Let your imagination run wild, this design is a great scrap buster!

Lace – For the lace option any width lace can be used. I have used a 3cm wide and 18 cm wide stretch scallop lace on my samples. The lace can be stretch or rigid.

This is a beginner sewing pattern that can be made with just a regular sewing machine.
No overlocker/ serger required.

In your download you will receive a full pattern set in Australian sizes 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20. The pattern is computer generated and features a different colour for every size. The pattern has a clever layers function so you are able to print out only the size you need.
