The Lily dress is a stylish and elegant design. Made for stretch fabrics, the flattering shape feels lovely to wear.
The bodice features a high V neckline and blouses over a ruched hip band. The loose dolman sleeve shape has short or long-sleeve options. The ruched hip band is elasticised and designed to be worn on the high hip.
The skirt has an A-line shape with an overskirt that wraps diagonally over an underskirt. An asymmetrical hemline gives a modern designer look. The skirt has both knee length and longer length options.
Mix and match the sleeve and skirt lengths to make your very own lovely Lily dress.
Sizes 8 – 26 Australian sizing.

Description
The Lily dress pattern has been designed for lightweight to medium weight 4 way stretchy and high stretch knits with 50% – 100% stretch factor.
Suggested fabrics and all requirements are listed below.
Dress fabric – Light to medium weight stretch fabrics that have a good draping quality.
Polyester/spandex blends, rayon/spandex blends, viscose/ spandex blends, modal/spandex.
Stretch fusible interfacing – for neck facings.
Narrow elastic or swimwear rubber – 1cm (3/8”) wide. To be used on hip band.
Sewing machine needles – Stretch or Microtex needles.
Sizes recommended – 70/10, 75/11, 80/12 depending on fabric weight.
Twin needle – if using for hems.
The Lily dress is offered in sizes 8 – 26 Australian sizing.
Detailed instructions are given to help you determine your size. Full measurement chart is below. Both imperial and metric measurements are used in the tutorial.
There are 2 pdf files included. The pattern file consists of 76 pages. A 29 page tutorial includes detailed instructions with colour illustrations. You can choose to view the tutorial on a screen or print out.
The patterns are computer generated, and are full sized including all pieces, which will print on your home computer on either letter or A4 paper. The patterns are colour coded by size and feature a layers function, so you only need print out your size.
A0 size, 36″ wide copy shop files and projector files are also included – all with the layers function included.
