Darcy dress review
I wanted to share some gorgeous photos that Vicki from Bishy Barnababes took for her review of the Darcy dress pattern.
Vicki sewed up a size 4 for her daughter in a soft stretch knit fabric in a muted grey. She used a natural coloured all over lace for the bodice and chose the short sleeve raglan design. The results are gorgeous, with the fabric draping beautifully on the sides.
Vicki lives in Norfolk in the UK – the colours make for an amazing setting for a photo shoot. And what a little sweetheart her daughter is, I wish mine were that small again!
Vicki is also a pattern designer and has recently released these very cool applique designs. Check out her Etsy shop Bishy Barnababes here.
Vicki’s website Bishy Barnababes has a great podcast called The Sewing Room. Vicki has kindly included a review of the Darcy dress pattern on her podcast this week. Check it out the podcast here for the review and also for some interesting facts about interfacings and stabilsers if you are interested in trying applique and free hand embroidery.
